PART-TIME COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

Duties: This is a part-time position with the Center for Health Behavior Research (CHBR), Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for implementing the communication strategy for the UPenn Prevention Research Center. Specific responsibilities include maintaining and updating the UPenn PRC website and social media presence (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram); creating the UPenn PRC newsletter; creating marketing materials; creating media monitoring reports; and communicating results from research projects to internal and external audiences.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: Associate's degree and 2-3 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, are required. Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years of experience very strongly preferred. This position requires organization, excellent writing/communication skills, and strong attention to detail. Must have experience working with websites (experience with Wordpress and/or other content management systems) and social media platforms. Website development and video production skills are a plus.
