The Division of Pediatric Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at West Virginia University School of Medicine is seeking applicants for a full time faculty member to join an expanding team. We currently have specialists in the areas of general cardiology, imaging, interventional, noninvasive and invasive electrophysiology, adult congenital and preventive cardiology. Applicants with interest, training and expertise in interventional cardiology are encouraged to apply. Expertise in Adult Congenital Cardiology is a plus.

Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Candidates must have completed an accredited pediatrics residency program and be fellowship trained and board certified/eligible in pediatric cardiology. They should also have completed a specialized year of training in Interventional Cardiology.

WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital is a tertiary care center for the state of West Virginia, Western Maryland, Southwestern Pennsylvania, as well as Southeastern Ohio. We have the only cardiothoracic surgery program in the state, and we offer surgical interventions for the full range of congenital heart defects.
