Job Description:


The Alfred State College Automotive Department is in search of an instructor to teach in our two year A.O.S. degree, Motorsports Technology curriculum. The ideal applicant will be experienced and proficient in a variety of automotive racing applications. The primary responsibilities include instructing and advising students in Motorsports Technology. The topics to be taught will include but are not limited to: Metal fabrication, race suspension and steering system design and set-up, and race engine tuning. The ideal candidate will also be fluent with computers used for word processing, email, and grading.



Requirements:


An associate degree or equivalent experience is preferred or having the ability to complete an associate degree with in two years of hire, a minimum of seven years of experience, with five of those years working as a technician, are required.
