Join our highly ranked and innovative graduate program in speech-language pathology in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. We seek a Instructor or Assistant Professor for a full-time, 12-month faculty position to begin August 1, 2017. The primary responsibilities involve direct supervision of graduate students in our in-house Speech, Language and Literacy Center that is part of an interprofessional center also involving students in OT, PT, Nursing, and Physician Assistant programs. Primary area of specialty for this position is expertise in childhood disorders of speech and language. Expertise in autism and/or literacy is preferred. There is a possibility for some classroom teaching and other mentoring of students. Participation in department and Institute service activities and involvement in scholarly activities is expected. Applicants should have five or more years of clinical experience and strong oral and written communication skills. A Master's degree (or PhD) in speech-language pathology, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), and MA state licensure in speech-language pathology are required. Previous experience in and enthusiasm for supervising graduate students is highly desirable. The salary and benefits for the position are competitive.
