Description:

The University of Illinois Foundation seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst.

Duties: Design, develop, test, implement and help to document BI reports and applications. Interact with business users in various functional areas to gather and interpret requirements to ensure that information products satisfy business needs. Assist with data modeling and metadata development in order to translate business requirements into robust reporting and analytic tools. Actively participate in the development of SQL scripts to create and maintain data structures that support reporting and BI applications. Perform regular system and process audits to monitor and improve applications' performance and to ensure data integrity. Together with other BI team members, advise the Associate Vice President regarding the development and use of new BI products and services. Serve as technical support for BI to the Advance Illinois database conversion project and the UIF IT User Support Help Desk. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's in Computer Science, BI, MIS or related field. Three (3) years of experience as an ERP Analyst, Data Analyst, SQL Developer or related in reporting/data warehouse applications development or related which includes utilizing business intelligence tools with Microsoft (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, etc.) and/or IBM Cognos (Report Studio, Framework Manager, etc.). Experience must include a variety of data sources and input/output formats. Full-time.
