GRANTS & COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR
Duties: The Grants & Communications Coordinator will be a key staff member of the Sachs Program for Arts Innovation, working closely with the Executive Director, Faculty Advisory Board, Provost's Office, arts leaders, grantees and other key constituents to launch and grow this important new university-wide program. S/he will support the work of the program, the Executive Director, and the Faculty Advisory Board, including administering program grants, coordinating and implementing centralized arts communications efforts (print, social media, web), planning and implementing program events and symposia, and providing support to the Executive Director with other administrative and budgeting needs. The Sachs Program for Arts Innovation aims to visibly energize the arts and arts innovation at Penn by integrating research, teaching, and practice; working collaboratively with faculty, students, arts and culture leaders, and the Provost's Arts Advisory Council; and establishing a dedicated Arts Innovation Hub based in the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.
Qualifications: BA/BS plus minimum of 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; ideally previous experience in a university and/or the arts and/or supporting the work of an executive officer; knowledge of budgets; strong organizational skills; excellent oral and written communications skills.
