DIRECTOR OF GAME DAY OPERATIONS
Duties: The Director of Game Day Operations is responsible for the leadership and management of all intercollegiate Athletic contests serving as lead event manager and supervisor of event staff. Works with University departments as DRIA parking manager and performs security coordination as assigned. Assists the Associate Athletic Director, Operations with the operational planning and management of the Penn Relays and Business Development events as assigned. Supervises two (2) full-time and (1) part-time professional staff. Reports to and receives general administrative support from the Associate Athletic Director, Operations.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Previous experience with event and/or game day management. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Strong computer skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong oral and written communications skills. Ability to work evening, weekends, and holidays as required.
