General Summary: The University of North Georgia, Department of Nursing is currently accepting applications for part-time faculty members to make clinical site visits for graduate FNP students. The clinical agencies are located in the metro Atlanta and surrounding counties. This position is renewable. Part-time clinical faculty members are used as needed on a semester-by-semester basis

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The Part Time Clinical Faculty Member will:
  • Complete clinical observation and evaluation of graduate FNP nursing students in primary care settings.
  • Teach graduate nursing students in the clinical setting or agency.
  • Attend meetings as warranted
  • Grade associated clinical assignments
  • Complete student evaluations.

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • M.S. in Nursing
  • Doctorate preferred.
  • Licensed in the State of Georgia Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • At least 1 year as a nurse practitioner.
