ANNUAL (12 months)
Degree and Area of Specialization:
MD or DO, BC/BE Orthopedic Surgery, specializing in hand surgery and upper extremity surgery. Completion of a U.S.-based fellowship in hand surgery and upper extremity surgery is required.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Fellowship-trained in hand and upper extremity surgery from a U.S.-based program.
Candidates for associate or full professor rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per established UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the CHS track.
License or certificate:
Board eligible or board certified in orthopedic surgery, fellowship trained in hand surgery. Wisconsin medical license must be obtained prior to first date of employment.
The Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking an orthopedic surgeon specializing in care of the hands and upper extremities. The candidate will be working with inpatients and outpatients at UW Health locations. We are looking for candidates with a strong interest in clinical activities, education, and research.
