The Department of Management in the Robert J. Trulaske Sr. College of Business at the University of Missouri (MU) invites OB or HRM applicants to apply for a rank open faculty position for our Innovation, People, and Organizations Group. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a Ph.D. degree in a related area. ABD candidates within one year of completing their Ph.D. degrees will also be considered. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high quality, active research stream in organization behavior or HRM topics related to entrepreneurship, innovation, or technology management, broadly defined. Collaborative work with faculty and doctoral students is expected.
Key skills sought include expertise in leading edge OB or HRM research, proven college-level teaching ability, and collegiality in service roles. We seek candidates whose research is focused on leading and working in innovative and entrepreneurial organizations. We desire candidates who will help achieve our goal to become a top 20 management department in terms of research excellence and instructional program innovation with a focus on the management of innovation, entrepreneurship and technology. Expertise in leading edge methods is also desired.
