University of North Texas - Administrative Specialist III
The CLASS-Dean's Office Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Administrative Specialist III to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Maintain front desk for CLASS Dean's Office, which includes: greeting visitors, sorting mail, answering phones, performing accurate cash handling procedures, updating log books, updating webpage, etc. * Provide administrative support for Dean's Office and CLASS departments, which includes: typing correspondence, filing, preparing IDOs, ePro requisitions, and travel vouchers.* Work with faculty, staff and students in several departments to prepare travel forms.* Responsible for opening the office by 8:00 am and closing the office at 5:00 pm. * Manage the CLASS Dean's Office faculty book collection database. * Serve as backup Building Representative for the General Academic Building.* Place orders for name plates and keys. * Report all building maintenance problems and input work orders to the Facilities department.* Report safety hazards to the Safety Office.* Update bulletin boards in GAB. * Coordinate release or repair of broken furniture.* Other duties as assigned.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The successful candidate will possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent and three years of general office or clerical experience. Substitution of education for experience allowed.
