The Toulouse Graduate School Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Student Services Specialist II to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Responsible for an administrative process for a student service-centered function. * Providing customer service to students and departments, assisting in developing and organizing scholarship/fellowship workflow, establishing paperwork processing priorities, reporting, event planning, maintaining records, and ensuring deadlines are met.* Assist in developing procedures for the Toulouse Graduate School scholarships and fellowships. * May provide information on scholarship/fellowship processes and procedures and examine academic credentials for authenticity. * Duties are standardized.* Resolves routine questions where problems have occurred before and their solutions generally are familiar. * Refers more complex issues to higher levels.* Serves as information source for students regarding fellowships and scholarships.* Liaison between graduate schools and departments.* Complete and submit Stipend and Scholarship Authorization forms to Student Financial Aid and Scholarships. * Check enrollment status and cancel fellowships and scholarships of students that do not meet requirements. * Monitor and maintain Graduate Fellowship and Scholarship budget.* Update monthly budget sheets.* Process Course Load Reduction forms and other duties as assigned.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The successful candidate will possess an Associate's Degree and two years of office administration experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
