Job Summary This position provides project-based, administrative and fiscal-related support for the growing Office of Experiential Learning and the Office of the Vice President for Instruction. Key duties include assisting with a variety of tasks in a fast-paced and professional environment, including assisting OEL staff with ongoing projects, supporting the Associate Vice Presidents for Instruction and Director of Experiential Learning, as well as backup support for the Senior Administrative Specialist. This position also includes responsibilities such as managing multiple calendars, generating travel authorities, reimbursements and creating check requests. This position assists in effectively addressing small and large projects to improve the efficiency and organization in departmental operations. The individual will be a part of the team that supports various operations within the OEL and the OVPI and is expected to work cooperatively with others in the unit. This position frequently deals with issues that are highly confidential in nature so one must be able to use discretion effectively. The successful candidate should be skilled in written and verbal communication, and able to correspond effectively with students, faculty and staff in a positive manner. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and three years of progressively responsible office experience OR Associate's Degree and one year of responsible office experience may be required.
