Position Details
The Family Medicine Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Clinic Service Representative to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

* Greeting patients/Customers.
* Answer calls promptly and in a polite and professional manner.
* Scheduling patients according to prescribed protocol.
* Obtain and enter accurate demographic information.
* Maintaining excellent communication with peers and Providers.
* Completing arrival and disposition on all patients, ensuring the appropriate documentation is prepared.
* Obtain insurance co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance.
* Other Duties as Assigned.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a High school diploma or equivalent and three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:
* Bilingual.
* Three or more years experience in a medical practice preferred.
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
* Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone.
* Ability to relate to persons with diverse educational, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds.
* Ability to handle a "call center" environment: work quickly and multi-task.
* Ability to exercise good judgment to handle calls appropriately.
* Ability to demonstrate good customer service.
