ANNUAL (12 months)
Degree and Area of Specialization:
MD or DO; fellowship trained in heart failure and transplant cardiology.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
The successful candidates will be fellowship trained in heart failure and transplant cardiology and board certified in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology or eligible to take the examination. Practicing cardiologists or 2016/2017 fellows are both welcome to apply. A strong clinical background with demonstrated excellence in patient care is desired.
License or certificate:
Eligible for Wisconsin medical license.
Heart Failure academic physician; practicing at UW Health approved locations and the Madison VA Hospital, duties will
include inpatient and outpatient services, performance of right heart catheterizations and endomyocardial biopsies,
clinical and translational research, outreach consultation, and education of house staff and cardiac fellows.
