A research specialist I position is immediately available. This position is expected to maintain and manage a research laboratory and to provide assistance to research fellows in the laboratory in their research projects.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or high school diploma and 4 years related research experience.Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with mouse work is preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Basic research experience and knowledge is required, such as tissue culture, DNA/RNA isolation and detection, western blotting, and molecular cloning.
