The Associate Dean for Administration will work with the College and University strategic plan and missions of research, teaching, and service. The Associate Dean will report to the college dean and will be expected to work closely with other college deans, department chairs, and faculty to provide leadership and oversight for the college's academic departments, research centers, and service units. This includes processes for human resources, financial resources, facilities and equipment, and sponsored projects.

In addition to administrative responsibilities, the faculty member will be expected to pursue activities required for achieving promotion to associate professor and tenure.
