The position duties require provision of leadership, vision, coordination, and management of major gifts, planned giving prospects identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship. This person will be responsible for a portfolio to raise cash and deferred campaign gifts for our college's multi-million dollar endowment goal as well as annual gifts and programs support.
As part of the major gifts fund raising process, the director will work independently with College of Fine Arts stakeholders in the development and implementation of prospect strategies for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. In conjunction with Central Development and University Legal Counsel, this position will author all college endowment gift agreements.
Responsibilities include development of annual and strategic plans for securing revenue; setting and measuring performance goals, securing major and principal gifts; working closely with faculty, staff and volunteers to secure private support; coordinate priorities with the University of Kentucky College of Fine Arts; and work closely with the Dean and University leadership to develop and implement strategic plan for the college's capital campaign.

Physical Requirements

Sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time. Standing or walking with objects up to 10lbs. Intermittent job-related travel.


Mostly days; Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Some evenings and weekends required. Intermittent overnight and out-of-state travel.
