Digital Marketing Specialist
The Digital Marketing Specialist supports communications strategy for Temple University's social media, email, and web presence. Working closely with and taking direction from the digital marketing manager, this position's primary responsibility will be to develop and implement social media content, strategies and tactics in order to advance Temple's digital marketing and communications initiatives. Performs other Duties as assigned. Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, English, Communications, Journalism or related function. A minimum of three years of professional social media management experience in a business setting. Demonstrated experience with HTML and Adobe design suite. Experience in social media marketing, including creative and imaginative campaigns, contests and other strategies that drive user engagement. Experience using analytics tools to communicate social media outcomes and ROI. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills & Abilities: * Demonstrated knowledge of developing and implementing social media content, strategies and tactics. * Demonstrated knowledge of email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and/or web analytics. * Knowledge of HTML and Adobe design suite. * Ability to demonstrate social media outcomes and ROI using analytics tools. * Strong project and time-management skills. * Knowledge of Content Management Systems. * Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously. * Ability to adapt and willingness to learn new things. * Solid verbal, oral, and written communication skills. * Ability to work as a team and willing to take instruction. * Willingness to learn and grow digital marketing skills.
