Assistant Athletics Director of Marketing and Fan Experience for Athletics, reporting to Sr. Associate Athletics Director of Marketing & Branding. Oversee the creation and implementation of a comprehensive strategic marketing plan for football, men's and women's basketball, baseball, and all other varsity sports. Primary purpose, through long range planning and marketing, is to maximize revenue and attendance at University of South Carolina athletics events.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Bachelor's Degree requiredPreferred Qualifications
Advanced degree preferred. 5 years experience working in an athletics department environment, marketing at the Division I level of college athletics is preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Strong motivation, interpersonal skills, organizational skills and the ability to lead and work as a team player with a complex organization are essential. Must be able to communicate effectively with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
