Job Description

Vmax Vision is a technology company that has developed a revolutionary instrument for the eye care industry. Product Development Engineer will be part of the Manufacturing team and will be involved in all levels of process development for optics & mechanical designs.

We are seeking a qualified candidate to
:

Work under product development andl direction of the CEO. Responsible for the development and implementation of manufacturing plans and processes for new and past programs, support current manufacturing programs to achieve cost reductions and quality control. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Must be able to work with Bills of Materials, schematics and drawings of electrical circuits, machined parts, optics assembly and wiring diagrams.

Work with suppliers to resolve issues related to quality, inspection and recommend design changes where needed

Contribute to the creation of innovative solutions.

Ideal candidate has well rounded experience in multi discipline areas, including mechanical design,optics, computer applications and electronic circuitry.

Requirements:

At least 3 years working full time industrial CAD experience.

At least 3 years' experience in product development in the areas of optical instruments, and medical devices.

Must have work experience in prototyping, testing design, & manufacturing of commercial products.

Good working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet & presentation application software needed.

This position is located at our Corporate Office Maitland, Florida - no relocation is provided.
