Program Specialist - Corporate and Community Education (Part-Time Position)

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree and a minimum of (2) two years of work experience, effective communication, problem solving and customer service skills, ability to work with diverse customers and constituents, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software required.  Bachelor’s degree, and experience working with Banner and Argos software preferred.

Duties:

The Part-Time Program Specialist works in the Center for Corporate and Community Education to support the development and delivery of community and workforce development programming.  Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Supports Center coordinators with course development and implementation;

Develops comprehensive program reports to monitor, analyze and track registrations, sales and statistics;

Maintains customer databases;

Prepares third-party subcontracts and instructor contracts, third party invoices and payroll authorizations in compliance with State and Federal wage and hourly laws;

Coordinates and books room assignments;

Processes student registrations;

Responds to needs and inquiries from students, staff and Center partners;

Other duties as assigned by the Director of Community and Workforce Development.
