RESEARCH PROFESSIONAL III

Job Summary The successful applicant will be supervised by the Head of Department in conjunction with direct input from the Departmental Research Committee. This individual will be conducting research experiments, ensuring equipment is appropriately maintained, and ordering supplies. This position will be overseeing research by other technicians and students in the laboratory. The individual will be maintaining equipment and supply inventory. This position is also responsible for the oversight of the quality of research conducted by post docs, graduate students, and undergraduate students. The individual will write and contribute to manuscript preparation and research presentations for conferences, and grant preparation. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree and some experience or equivalent combination of Bachelor's degree plus experience and skills required. Area-specific certification and/or training may be required and other training will be provided as appropriate.
