Required Qualifications: Doctoral Degree or Masters Degree in the content area. At least eight years of professional experience showing knowledge of content area.
Preferred Qualifications: Teaching on line or face to face experience is preferred. The incumbent could have experience teaching credit classes. As evidence by resume.
Responsibilities & Requirements: The responsibility of the lecturer is to teach courses for SPD's off campus cohorts as needed on a semesterly basis. The lecturer should be available for training as needed. Teach a 10-week online or 14 week face to face course and comply with SPD guidelines. In addition the incumbents are required to develop discussion forum questions, learning objectives and a weekly schedule, per the course syllabus. The incumbent must be willing to travel to contracted vendor locations. We are seeking instructors to teach in our: Human Resources, Educational Leadership and Liberal Studies Graduate Program.
Special Notes: This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: Spring 2018
