Summary of Job Duties

The Admin Support Supervisor will serve as the office/site manager for the Office of Entrepreneurship & Innovation and the Brewer Family Entrepreneurship Hub. This position will be responsible for oversight of most office operations and will provide administrative assistance/support to all units reporting to the Associate Vice Provost for Entrepreneurship. As the site manager for the Brewer Hub, this position will be responsible for managing membership and facility maintenance, usage, and access. This position will be responsible for supporting all OEI-based programming and logistics related to planning Arkansas Executive Forum activities.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

  • The formal education of a high school diploma
  • At least one year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field
  • At least four years of experience in administrative support, including one year in a supervisory or leadership capacity

Preferred Qualifications
  • The formal equivalent of a bachelor's degree in a business, education, or a related field
  • Work experience as an office/site manager
  • Experience with event planning and management
  • Experience with processing travel authorizations and claims in the University of Arkansas' (UA) BASIS and WebBasis systems, basic accounting practices, and UA procurement through RazorBuy
