Summary of Job Duties

The Associate Bookstore Manager/Departmental Supplies mainly involves customer service, fulfillment of orders, and maintaining adequate inventory levels in departmental supplies as well as graduation products and services. This position will take care of phone calls, fax messages, and e-mails received on a daily basis. This position places orders with vendors and after orders are received, invoices are reviewed and processed for payment. Each day orders are processed for delivery and billing to campus departments. Problems with orders and deliveries are handled by this position. The Associate Bookstore Manager/Departmental Supplies will review inventory and provide additional support in the Supplies area as required.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

  • The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in general business, marketing or related field
  • At least two years of experience in a revenue producing facility or related area, including one year in a supervisory capacity
