About the College/Department
The Poultry Science Department consists of approximately 30 nationally respected faculty in various fields of study. Undergraduate, M.S. and Ph.D. programs are offered by the Department.
The Poultry Science Department/Center of Excellence for Poultry Science is housed in an 112,000-square-foot office, laboratory and classroom complex located on the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, campus. Additional poultry science facilities are located within close proximity to the campus and include a poultry research farm, a pilot processing plant, a feed mill, a poultry health and isolation unit, and commercial style research farms for broilers and broiler breeders.

Summary of Job Duties
The Post-Doctoral responsibilities include planning, conducting experiments to identify and understand the mode of action of "antibiotics alternatives" in poultry production utilizing both in vivo and in vitro techniques such as, but not limited to, biochemical and "omic" technologies.

Ph.D. in animal biological sciences or a closely related field with documentable research experience in those fields.

Experience in laboratory.

Knowledge of omic technologies, bioinformatics, molecular techniques in poultry.
