Advertised Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist/Lab Tech coordinates and performs a full range of radiological procedures and electrocardiograms as prescribed by healthcare providers. Must be able to closely follow providers instruction and prepare images for PACS reading. Practice ALARA in positioning patients correctly in acquiring diagnostic images. Practice proper shielding of patients during radiographic procedures. Primary duties require exertion of up to 20 pounds of force. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving objects including the human body and mechanical apparatus is required. Frequent standing, kneeling, walking, twisting, and turning is required. Also will work in the laboratory functioning as a laboratory technician as requested.Qualifications
Limited Radiology Degree or an Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology
