Assistant Professor of Geology. Tenure-track position
FILLING THIS POSITION WILL BE CONTINGENT UPON STATE APPROPRIATE FUNDS AVAILABILITY
Required: Ph.D. required. Must be able to teach a broad range of courses in Geology and related fields.
Preferred: Preference given for specialization in Tectonic Geomorphology, Vertebrate Paleontology, and/or Igneous Petrology.
Primary Responsibilities: Teach 12 semester credit hours (four courses) per semester. The likely teaching load will a physical geology section, one or two advanced undergraduate geology class in ones field, and a graduate class per semester. Position is Security Sensitive.
