Webster University invites applicants for a 12-month tenure-track faculty
at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

Webster University’s school psychology program is multicultural,
international, and child-centered. Excellence in teaching is expected.
Candidates must also pursue a program of research and scholarship in their
chosen areas of school psychology and publish regularly in professional

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have an earned doctorate and specialization in school
psychology. Applicant must also be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.

We seek a professionally credentialed, nationally certified school
psychology faculty member with practice-based knowledge and ability to
establish relationships with school districts.

This position is located in St. Louis/Webster Groves, MO, with
opportunities to teach at international campuses

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred areas of expertise are as follows:
1. School-based mental health services for culturally and linguistically
diverse populations.
2. Background in special education and a school crisis prevention and
intervention specialist (PREPaRE trainer).
3. Culturally responsive evidence-based interventions focused on academic,
behavioral, and mental health support.
4. International children’s rights and school psychology.
5. Exceptional youth – including students with disabilities, those with
special gifts and talents, and “twice-exceptional” youth.
6. Three years of experience working as a school psychologist in elementary
and secondary schools, especially with students from multicultural and
international backgrounds.
7. One year of applied behavior analysis practice.

Essential Duties

• Teach with a strong interactive focus.
• Advise graduate students.
• Teach 8 courses per year. Course releases may apply depending on
administrative appointments related to the programs.
• Participate in curriculum development, implementation, and program
• Serve as liaison with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board®.
• Assist in data collection, data analysis and reports as required by the
University and School of Education as well as state, regional, and national
accreditation agencies.
• Explore opportunities for additional collaboration with school districts
and in-service opportunities for educators.
• Engage in service and make professional contributions to the department,
school, university, and community.
• Collaborate with graduate students as they prepare to present research at
international and national conferences and publish in international journals
in psychology and education.
