Minimum Qualification-Education/Experience
Engineering Technology Discipline requires a Masters Degree in any field of engineering technology OR bachelor's degree in either of the above AND master's degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, biological science. or chemistry, OR bachelor's degree in industrial technology, engineering technology or engineering AND a professional engineer's license OR the equivalent.


Desirable Qualifications
The Engineering Technology area within DVC's Architecture/Engineering Department is seeking qualified candidates to teach semester length course in either Solidworks or Autocad classes. Candidates must have classroom teaching experience, ability to motivate and teach a diverse student population in an open-access learning environment and a commitment to student learning. Must demonstrate expertise in topics covered including: SOLIDWORKS: Fundamentals of Sketching, Parts, Assemblies, Mating Relationships, Drawings, Lofts, Patterns, Revolves, Sweeps, Fillets and Chamfers, Mold Design, Animations and Motion Simulations. AUTOCAD: All functions in 2D (3D is covered in a subsequent course).
