Assistant Project Manager
Very busy commercial construction company seeking an Assistant PM to assist Project Managers with project tasks. Coordinate subs, suppliers and submittals. Understand of plans, takeoffs, estimating with construction background. Performs takeoffs, solicit quotes from subcontractors and suppliers and negotiating quotes with material ordering, inventory and yard management, foremen production reports, as-builts and pay requests. Proactive individual with productivity, time management, meeting deadlines, problem solving, making suggestions, taking initiative. When needed attend weekly job and progress meetings. Superb organizational skills, including tracking purchases, shipments and purchasing ahead of project deadlines to meet construction schedule.
Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Project, RFI Construction process, Certified Payroll and Construction software a plus. Hours may be over 40 hours
