Job Description Summary:
The GW Office of EEO & Employee Relations is seeking a temporary position for an investigator for identifying and handling internal staff complaints, including discrimination and misconduct; writing investigative reports; providing consultative guidance on various employment matters; and assisting the EEO & Employee Relations staff as needed. The requirements are the following:
•Working knowledge of EEO laws and regulations
•Excellent writing and analytical skills
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to interact with staff, upper management and Office of General Counsel
•Ingenuity and persistence to obtain case information not readily available with an eye for detail
•Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
•Good organizational skills needed to manage a high volume of assigned cases
•Display good interviewing skills
•Honest and ethical with high levels of integrity and confidentiality
•Proficient in Word software
Candidates must possess a Bachelors degree and at least 3 years’ experience conducting EEO and Employee Relations investigations.Additional Required Licenses/Certifications/Posting Specific Minimum Qualifications:
