Graduate Admission Counselor for the Heller College of Business
Job Summary: The Graduate Admission Counselor will play a key role in recruiting College of Business (COB) graduate students and assisting in the planning and execution of COB graduate admission activities. This Graduate Admission Counselor will communicate with prospective students regarding information integral to the recruitment, admission, and enrollment processes. Also, he/she will manage and facilitate the application submission and review process for all COB programs. COB houses a variety of graduate degree programs: accounting, accounting forensics, business administration, human resource management, real estate, organizational development, hospitality and tourism, and executive hospitality and tourism. Each program is unique in terms of discipline-specific customs, requirements and recruitment strategies. This position requires some evenings and weekends and ability to work at our Chicago and Schaumburg campuses. Local and regional travel is required. This position reports to the Assistant Dean of the College of Business, and is collaborative with the Director of Graduate Enrollment.
Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree required, preferably within a business related field. Two years of experience within a recruitment/higher education setting preferred or three to five years of experience within business related recruitment/sales.

Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; to establish positive public relations for the University; and to interact effectively with a wide variety of people. Willingness to learn new skills and collaborate with others. Highly dependable. Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships. Ability to demonstrate a commitment to service excellence by embodying Roosevelt's core values, mission, and vision in every aspect of the role working with students, faculty, staff, and visitors. A positive and professional demeanor is a must. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Qualified candidates will need to provide proof of a current driver's license and have access to a vehicle for travel to off-campus recruitment sites. #CB
Preferred Qualifications: Three years of experience within a recruitment/higher education setting preferred or four to six years of experience within business related recruitment/sales.
