Duties: Under the supervision of the Grants Manager, provide financial support in the Abramson Cancer Center as follows: pre & post award. Grants support for sponsored programs including the Celgene Alliance Program. This includes account expense analysis and reconciliations, assisting the Grants Manager in preparing and reconciling monthly BEN/Business Object reports; preparing and entering journal entries and other financial transactions within Ben Financials, Concur and PennWorks. Assist with Just in Time, Progress Reports (RPPR), close outs, and new proposals in PennERA and/or NIH e-commons. Providing financial monitoring and reporting for sponsored programs including foundations, federal and other agencies. Provide assistance to the Grant Manager in supporting PSOM Administration, Research Services, Regulatory Affairs and Center for Technology Transfer function including sponsored programs. Providing financial support, which includes budget entry into proposal development and financial report preparation, compiling and summarizing data for financial reports and assisting the manager with departmental annual budgets, monitoring expenses against budget for appropriateness. The Grants Coordinator B will also be responsible for payroll entry and ad-hoc projects as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Reports to the grants manager and has a dotted reporting line to PSOM Office of Research Support Services.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 2 years to 4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Knowledge of University financial systems and Hyperion planning is preferred.
