Position Summary: The Division of Infectious Diseases at the UNC School of Medicine is recruiting for a clinical track physician to serve as our primary clinical outreach physician. The primary duties of this physician will be to support three of the Division's outreach programs. Foremost, will be to serve as the Medical Director for the Wake County ID Clinic. This physician will also support the DPS contract by seeing patients at Central Prison. Additionally, through the Ryan White grant, this physician will participate in the care and treatment of general ID and HIV/AIDS patients at the High Point Regional Hospital. Lastly, this physician will work with the ID AIDS Clinical Trials Unit.
Education Requirements: MD and Board Certified/Board Eligible in Infectious Diseases.
Qualification and Experience: ID/HIV/AIDS clinician with experience providing clinical care in outreach program environments.
