Posting Summary:
The School of Medicine is currently seeking a Procurement Administrative Coordinator to aid the core director in running the MolMart product core facility within the Office of Research Core Administration by: placing orders for supplies and materials, storing items when they arrive, assisting core customers with inquiries, special orders, and billing questions, and learning to utilize the core's ilab store module and billing system.

The successful candidate will have a High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year related experience. Candidates should have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, knowledge of customer service and ability to provide positive customer service on a regular basis, knowledge of procurement and vendor management and must be able to lift at least fifty pounds. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is also required.

Preferred applicants will have an Associate's degree in finance, accounting or supply chain management and three or more year's related experience. Working knowledge of procurement practices and laboratory operations and supplies, and basic sciences research is preferred. Experience with the Oracle Procurement Module is also preferred.

This is a part time position that averages 20 hours per week.

This position is restricted and contingent upon the continuation of funding.
