Required Qualifications: (As Evidenced by an Attached Resume)
Bachelor’s degree in a health care or scientific discipline. Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a research laboratory handling radioactive materials, operating and testing pneumatic and electronic nebulizers plus operating mechanical ventilators and humidifiers. Prior experience measuring aerosol particle size distribution.
Training and experience in respiratory therapy, nuclear medicine, radiology, or other medical discipline. Ability to insert IV lines and to perform spirometry.
Brief Description of Duties:
The Project Support Specialist is needed to assist in aerosol studies and device development and assessment. The incumbent will perform in-vitro experiments in concert with other lab personnel and assist in in-vivo studies with the principal investigator.
Special Notes: FLSA Nonexempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
