Department Overview
The Department of Health Behavior and Health Systems in the School of Public Health at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth is seeking an outstanding faculty colleague at the tenure-track Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank in the field of health economics. Successful candidates will have a clearly defined area of research expertise in health economics. Incentive pay plans are available to faculty members who have externally funded research projects.

Position Details
The Health Behavior and Health Systems at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Professor to join our team.

Duties include participating in research, teaching and mentoring of students, and service to the department. This is a full-time, 12-month position.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:

* an earned doctoral degree in health economics or closely related field
* recognition or promise of outstanding contributions as a scholar and expert in health economics research
* successful record or promise of sponsored research and ability to foster a collaborative program of research
* enthusiasm for teaching
* commitment to inter-professional education and interdisciplinary research
