The Office of Disability Accommodation (ODA) at the University of North Texas exists to prevent discrimination on the basis of disability and to help students reach a higher level of independence.

Job Description
The Office of Disability Accommodations Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Student Services Coordinator I to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Serve as an accommodation specialist and case manager for students with disabilities served by the UNT Office of Disability Accommodation (ODA).
* Provide disability related advising and counseling to students and facilitates development of student autonomy, technology usage, campus support resources, community resources, employment, and academic success.
* Provide office support in keeping up to date with trends in ADA compliance and accommodation issues, contributes to budgetary management, and statistical collection.
* Serve as a primary outreach liaison and programming organizer with faculty, staff and students.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and two years of student services, student affairs, counseling, advising, or related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* Masters degree in Rehabilitation, Counseling or related field and 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
* Experience in a disability services office on a college campus.
