We are seeking an established scholar to strengthen our graduate education in Kinesiology in areas of curriculum and program design and evaluation, teaching and learning, or policy studies (e.g., advocacy and leadership). Primary responsibilities include maintaining a productive line of research, teaching graduate coursework, and taking a major role in mentoring graduate student scholarship in our innovative online professional Ed.D. program (http://kin.wp.uncg.edu/edd/). Other responsibilities include actively engaging in service activities for the department, school, university, and the profession.
Candidates must have 1) an earned doctorate in Kinesiology or related field, 2) an established record of excellence in scholarship with a productive line of research, 3) successful experience in, and commitment to, mentoring graduate students in scholarly endeavors, and 4) a broad view about and knowledge of Kinesiology and its sub-disciplines.
Experience in a broad range of scholarly methodologies including qualitative and mixed methods, and experience with evidence-based pedagogical practices. Experience in online pedagogy and digital literacy / technologies is also desirable.
