The W.M. Keck Science Department of Claremont McKenna, Pitzer, and Scripps Colleges, three of the five undergraduate Claremont Colleges located in Southern California, seeks to hire a visiting assistant professor for one or two years, beginning August 2017. Anticipated teaching responsibilities include an introductory course in cell/molecular biology, an intermediate-level course in genetics, and an upper level cell/molecular biology-related course.

Participation in research, particularly directing undergraduate projects, may be possible. A Ph.D. in biology or related subject is required and prior teaching experience preferred.
