GRANTS AND FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR, University Research (8730/C0917)
The Grants and Finance Administrator will be an integral part of a team that provides direct support of proposal preparation and submission, as well as post-award financial management for the CILSE (Center for Integrated Life Sciences & Engineering) faculty. Reporting to the CILSE Director of Operations, the Grants and Finance Administrator will be responsible for advising and assisting a portfolio of assigned faculty with the development and submission of proposals for sponsored research; management of all financial accounts (post-award); and representing the assigned faculty in communication with University administrative offices and federal and private funding agencies for sponsored research. Applicants should have working knowledge of OMB Circulars, NIH and NSF funding guidelines, as well as other major sponsors.
1-3 years of experience and Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred. Strong computer skills, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to be flexible and work independently, and one to three years of related experience, preferably in grant management at an institution for higher education. Familiarity with SAP preferred.
