Goucher College’s Center for the Study of Modern Language, Literature, and Cultures invites applications for a visiting resident instructor to begin Fall 2018 for a two-year position (with a possible third year).  The ideal candidate will be a native speaker of French from France or another Francophone country, have a Maîtrise (preferably in FLE), experience teaching French as a foreign language, and be able to teach language courses from the beginning level to the intermediate level. A commitment to teaching excellence and teaching experience are required. In addition to compensation (salary and benefits) as a full-time instructor, the successful candidate will receive an apartment on campus.  Position responsibilities include teaching, living on campus, and organizing French activities in the Language House.
