Restaurant Manager / Shift Manager/ Kitchen Manager
We are looking for managers who are energetic, with a positive outlook and strong desire to be the best while working withing the systems that are in place. Honesty and integrity are also qualities that we value greatly.
Suitable applicant will have at least 1 year experience as a Manager in the restaurant business.
Leadership skills are essential.
All of our managers are working managers. This means 10+ hours a day - 50+ hours a week, the majority of this time is spent standing or walking. All managers are expected to take an active role in the restaurant production, throughout the day.
Must be able to lift 40+ Pounds.
Must be willing and able to pass a drug test.
Your rate will be determined by experience and qualifications. We typically pay anywhere from $9.00/hour up to $45,000/year + bonus for a manager. Paid Vacations after your first full year with Vans.
In order to effectively lead, we expect our managers to be proficient in all areas of the restaurant operations and in all crew tasks. Once Hired, your training will cover FOH Guest Relations, kitchen production, daily opening and closing tasks and Manager specific functions.
Primary Daily Job Responsibilities
Fill a position in the restaurant FOH or Kitchen during Lunch, Mid Day and Dinner.
Maintains close contact with customers to promote the good will and patronage of the restaurant.
Insures products are made to company quality standards.
Insure the restaurant facility inside and out is clean and orderly
Directs activities of employees and other management.
Practices good employee relations and communication on a regular basis.
Insures that all company policies and procedures are followed.
Assures compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Help recruit and retain an hourly staff to insure effective operations of the restaurant.
Lead or Supervises the training and of employees.
Provides the stimulus for motivation of all personnel.
Assist the Store manager as needed.
