Duties: This position will support the research activities of up to 10 Biomedical Informatics faculty members. Duties will include processing all reimbursements for travel, conferences and other miscellaneous research activities; scheduling and coordinating meetings for internal and external sites, managing faculty members' calendars, updating and maintaining CV and FEDS databases, providing course support and management of online course sites, formatting manuscript drafts for journal submission, taking minutes during teleconferences and face-to-face meetings, assisting with article references and online manuscript submission processes, and submitting and managing supply orders for research projects.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and 5-7 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, are required. Associate's degree and a minimum of one to two years of post-graduate work experience strongly preferred. Experience formatting in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point strongly preferred. Experience formatting and preparing journal submissions preferred. Experience with CV maintenance and FEDS database preferred.
