Job Description: The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at East Carolina University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track, fixed-term position as Teaching Instructor of Spanish beginning August 18, 2017, with a teaching load of four courses per semester. This position is for the 2016-17 academic year with the possibility of subsequent appointments

Minimum Qualifications: MA in Spanish required, or any MA + 18 graduate units in Spanish for appointment as Teaching Instructor. Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions and conferred by the time of hire. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English is required. A commitment to teaching and service to the university, to include program recruitment and outreach, is expected.
