Lecturer-Assistant Choral Conductor/Administrator
The Music Department at Princeton University seeks an Assistant Conductor/Administrator for a growing choral program. The successful candidate will lead one of the music department's three choral ensembles (the William Trego Singers) and will assist in the leadership of the Chamber Singers - the smallest and most select ensemble. The successful candidate will also be expected to manage the building and administration of the choral program, and the development of the alumni community, as well as the running of the Glee Club's performing arts series - 'The Glee Club Presents'. Candidates should demonstrate past success in both musical leadership and administrative roles, and possess an advanced degree in conducting. Some experience with training University choral students at the beginner level is preferred. This is a full-time, 10-month position. Applications will be accepted until August 12, 2017.
