Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant area, or at least 2 years of professional experience.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Demonstrated experience working with electricity, hand tools, sound equipment, and rigging. A working knowledge of theatrical terms and production structure. Prior lighting and sound design experience, and supervising experience is a plus.



Position Summary:

The Assistant Lighting & Sound Supervisor is responsible for the safe and accurate implementation of the lighting and sound designs for the University Theatre productions as designed by the Lighting Designer and Sound Designer respectfully. Reports to the Lighting & Sound Studio Supervisor.



Additional Information:

This position may be extended or made renewable depending on funding and department need.
