First Coast No More Homeless Pets is seeking an experienced facility manger to maintain and oversee the upkeep of two locations and four buildings, operating a low cost veterinary clinic and surgery department. We have around 40,000 square feet of buildings and have plans for expansion. Maintenance of the fleet of company vehicles will also be required for this position. The company currently owns 2 box trucks and 3 vans and is looking to add another vehicle over the next year.
Maintaining the buildings and grounds of two locations is required including ensuring daily and weekly cleaning schedules are completed satisfactorily in addition to identifying repair needs, renovation projects, general organizational improvements and ensuring safety inspections are successful.
The facility manager will be in charge of custodial/maintenance staff and must be competent at facilitating meetings with outside vendors for supplies and repairs. Facility manger should be experienced with maintaining a budget and negotiating best prices. This is a hands-on position.
The successful candidate will have computer skills including Outlook, Excel and Word. Will have experience in at least one major trade (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical) and experience managing people.
